What is the smallest count fabric you have ever used? Did you stitch over one? Conversely, what is the largest count fabric you have ever used?
I have a UFO that is 48-ct. silk gauze. UFO, b/c it’s 48-ct! It was a kit, I didn’t realize. It’s a tiny project. Small stitch count, that is. I was thinking 40-ct. would be something I could handle. I can’t handle the 48-ct. Pity, really. I like the design–it’s of some girls dancing in a circle.
The smallest count I’ve successfully stitched over one is 32-ct.
I don’t remember stitching anything higher than 14-ct. I have some 10- and 11-ct. Aida, but I’ve never used it. I gave some to my son for him to try cross stitching, but the design was too big for him, and he lost interest.
