Bargello Symphony, part 6

I’m nearly finished with Lesson 3. I have quite a bit of background filling to do. The tricky bits will be compensating the pattern when I run into motifs. I’ve had a few interesting adventures with compensation so far. What I know: It’s ever so much easier to add compensation stitches than to frog mistakes. I know that sounds obvious, but, boy-oh-boy! You know? 😉

Here’s a sneak peek of what I’ve been up to so far.

Happy stitching! 🙂

  1. I love the step-by-step photos of Symphony. I have been hunting for a copy of that design for quite a while. You are doing a lovely job with it! I’m sure you have had a lot of requests for a chance to purchase the pattern from you when you are done. Please add me to the list! Maybe we could form a chain for passing it on– each purchasing it, of course, from the predecessor! Please keep posting photos of this piece frequently. There’s one section in other photos I’ve seen that I can’t figure out, and I’d like to see a close up of each section. Beautiful work!
