Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Today is my 19th wedding anniversary.  Yep, the world celebrates with us with drunken abandon, and we love it. 😉

I finished this little freebie pillow by Tanya last night.  I love it.  This was my first time tea-dying fabric.  I wanted to stuff it with crushed potpourri, but that didn’t go well.  When I ground the potpourri, it released the preservatives, which overpowered the vanilla scent and made me nauseous.  Good to know.  😛

  1. Happy Anniversary! I really, really, really wanted to get married on St. Patrick’s Day, but it always falls in the middle of Lent, which means it’s not happening in the Catholic church (they don’t perform wedding ceremonies during Lent except in extreme cases – military deployment, illness, etc.) So we compromised and got married April 17th instead.

Hope you have a wonderful day!
